The luxury train is a masterpiece of Belle Époque design. Luxury trains at the dawn of the 20th century combined elegant new and tasteful style with plush interiors. The cosy atmosphere of Le Grand Tour's enchanting cabins meet the warmth of the Bar Car and the bright colours of the Restaurant Car. The Restaurant Car celebrates French gastronomy. Le Grand Tour France Itinerary - The ShowLE GRAND TOUR, DISCOVERING THE WONDERS OF FRANCE More than a journey, Le Grand Tour is a 6-day, 5-night show, a real immersion in the wonders of France, imagined and staged by Puy du Fou. Along the 4,000 kilometre route, each stopover becomes the stage for a spectacular adventure full of surprises and emotion! DAY ONE MORNING We leave Paris In the early morning towards Reims, promising an enchanting escapade. The scenery flies by, anticipating a visit to the city of kings and its sublime cathedral. AFTERNOON After lunch, the journey continues to Beaune, the jewel of Burgundy. The region presents beautiful scenery and multi-coloured roofs. We take part in a private tour of the unusual secret sites of the famous Hospices. DAY TWO MORNING Travelling through the night to Provence, we arrive in Avignon. The Palace of the Popes reveals its best-kept mysteries to us, from the ground to the rooftops. Unique tasting of the region’s finest wines and produce awaits us. EVENING We leave Avignon and return to the train. Picturesque landscapes follow, until sunset over the majestic city of Carcassonne. In the cobbled streets, the footsteps of knights preparing for battle still echo. DAY THREE MORNING We arrive in Montauban, near the picturesque Tarn River. Red brick cobbled streets stretch out as we stroll through to the Place Nationale and its water mirror. AFTERNOON The salty Atlantic air beckons us and the Arcachon Basin reveals its splendours. Fresh out of the Dubourdieu boatyard, we board a classic pinasse boat for a moment out of time on the inland basin. DAY FOUR MORNING We wake to the so-called Jewel of the Atlantic, La Rochelle, on the ocean’s shores. In the distance, elegant medieval towers bear witness to a rich maritime past. The paved streets are alive with a friendly atmosphere, aromas of seafood mingling with the sea breeze. EVENING Dusk illuminates the River Cher with golden reflections. On the horizon rises a limestone wonder, Chenonceau, The Ladies’ Chateau. A moving private tour awaits us. DAY FIVE Le Grand Tour ends with a spectacular journey back in time at Puy du Fou. MORNING We begin our day in Saint Malo. The waves whisper of ancient tales in the narrow streets of this pirate town. EVENING We now head for Mont-Saint-Michel. In the twilight, shadows creep through the cobbled streets, while the sea lulls the island to a gentle farewell. ++ DAY SIX MORNING We enjoy brunch on board n our way into Paris.

Le Grand Tour has a wheelchair adapted for use onboard, reserve on booking. It must not be taken off the train. This Suite can be a Double Bed (140x190cm) or Twin Beds (70x190cm each). Please note: The Double Bed is accessible by the foot of the bed. Twin Bed - Le Grand Tour's own wheelchair fits between the beds. All visits are wheelchair-accessible. However, these areas are not accessible: Reims Cathedral - the towers; Beaune Hospices, - the cellars, Annecy, - old town; Avignon Palais des Papes - higher areas; Alpilles - the walk. Passengers can either bring their own wheelchair for off-train use (stored in the train baggage car) or arrange the local hire.
