Carriages - British Pullman, a Belmond TrainDelight in the elegance of the beautiful British Pullman carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express luxury train that once ran on the legendary 1920s services such as the Brighton Belle and Golden Arrow. Each carriage interior is different with exquisite marquetry and plush armchairs. The tables are elegantly dressed with glasses, crisp linen and beautiful flowers. The British Pullman carriages have their own story to tell. For example, Minerva has Edwardian-type marquetry, Zena was used in the film 'Agatha', while Perseus was reserved for Royalty, visiting Heads of State and as Winston Churchill's funeral carriage. Charter or hire the British Pullman carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express from the Luxury Train Club. Our parent company Train Chartering has over 20 years' experience in the hiring of private trains. The British Pullman luxury train can travel throughout Great Britain - England, Scotland and Wales - although journeys from London are the most popular. The train carries up to 225 passengers, with no minimum number. Fine dining options are of course available, from Brunch to a 5-course dinner, accompanied by wines from a well-stocked bar list. There is a variety of entertainers available for on-board performances, such as musicians, magicians, murder mystery or music hall. Destinations include York or Bath.
