Belmond Luxury Trains Flexible Covid TermsFlexible Booking Terms UPDATED MAY 2021 For all Trains listed below and Cruises Guests rebooking their journey either voluntarily or due to a cancelled departure can rebook for a 2021 journey on the same itinerary and at the same fare. If 2022 is preferred, the applicable fare will be charged; guests will be liable to any fare increase. All guests with reservations made prior to June 30, 2021 for a future journey will be able to reschedule their journey up to 10 days prior to the scheduled date of departure without charge by Belmond. If, prior to the scheduled departure date, any new government travel restrictions or quarantine measures come into force that affect Belmond’s ability to operate, or guests’ ability to travel (either in the guest’s country of departure or destination), guests will be able to either change their booking without charge, or cancel without charge and receive a refund. At Belmond, the health and safety of our guests and associates is our highest priority. If a guest tests positive for COVID-19 at any time during the 14 days prior to their scheduled date of arrival with us, we ask that they do not travel and contact us immediately to discuss their options. Guests will be able to change their booking as above or cancel without charge and receive a refund. Guests who choose to change a booking will be able to select a new departure date from the current published schedules for 2021 and 2022, and any initial deposit already paid will be valid for use against the revised booking. Please note that all bookings will be subject to availability and a price difference may apply. Blue Train Flexible Covid TermsFlexible Booking Terms UPDATED 21 JUNE 2021 Special Covid-19 Terms and Conditions for 2021 Bookings
● Option 1 - Ticket Transfer: Ticket transfer without penalty to other persons able to travel on any departure between 01 June 2021 and 31 December 2022*. ● Option 2 - Postponement: Postpone travel without penalty and at the price paid for the original booking to any departure between 01 June 2021 and 31 December 2022*. ● Option 3 - Cancellation: Cancel confirmed bookings that are fully paid for, where we will offer a refund if there is no alternative. Please kindly note that The Standard Blue Train Terms & Conditions will apply for any cancellations received between 7 days and departure (proof of cancellation will be requested, as per our terms & conditions). Cancellations unrelated to COVID-19 received at any time before departure will be handled as per the Blue Train's Standard Terms & Conditions. Cancellations made after 31 December 2021 are subject to The Blue Train’s Standard Terms and Conditions. All costs / expenses incurred due to the postponement would be at the customers’ expense (this includes holiday costs such as change of flights, accommodation, shuttles, excursions, etc.). *Dependent on Covid protocols and regulations and subject to availability. Golden Eagle Luxury Trains Flexible Covid TermsGolden Eagle Trains Policy is named TRAVEL WITH CONFIDENCE. UPDATED DECEMBER 2021 Golden Eagle Flexible Booking Terms.Book a 2021 or 2022 journey now and your deposit will be fully refundable until 31 January 2022*. If your future trip is cancelled by Golden Eagle Trains, for any reason, you will be refunded. If you cannot travel due to government restrictions in your country of residence or in the countries you are due to visit on your trip with Golden Eagle Trains, you can amend your booking to another date, up to 60 days before departure. *Following this date, these Golden Eagle Trains standard terms and conditions will apply. The date of cancellation is the date on which your letter, fax or e-mail is received by us, and it is your responsibility to ensure that we have received your communication. There will be a cancellation charge: Cancellation 61 days or more prior to tour departure date - Loss of deposit paid or due Cancellation 60 days or less prior to tour departure date - 100% of the total cost of the holiday You will be liable for any bank and currency costs incurred by us related to your booking. Travel / cancellation insurance is compulsory for this train. Golden Eagle does not advise booking flights until at least 3 months prior to departure or after they have guaranteed the tour departure. Golden Eagle Vaccination Policy
Many border controls are requesting this proof of vaccination, therefore enforcing this policy will ensure that our tours can operate as seamlessly as possible across the various countries we visit. We will continue to monitor the local requirements and, where necessary, will adjust our policies accordingly. These new protocols will follow the very latest advice at that time from various government agencies and the World Health Organisation (WHO) and all our train staff will undergo extensive training. A British-registered Doctor travels on board every one of our luxury train journeys, providing further peace of mind. Please contact the Club for updates.
