Single Travel with Flexibility and ChoiceLuxury train solo travel allows you to both enjoy the company of fellow passengers from many countries and cultures and also to have private space. Most rail holidays on the Club website include escorted tours off the train. You can choose not to take the tour and wander by yourself or, often, to stay on the train. You can organize your own pre- and post- your luxury train single travel, or ask us to make some suggestions.
Single SupplementsLuxury train solo travel supplements vary a lot. Some trains have cabins for single use with no supplement, while others allocate a double cabin for sole use at extra cost. Day trains - i.e. without sleeping accommodation - have no or far lower single supplements than those with beds. Trains with beds have differing policies.
Single Cabins Available, No SupplementsBelmond Royal Scotsman Scotland Single cabin use is without single supplement. If there is no single cabin available, a twin / double cabin will be offered for a sole passenger for a supplement. Sole Use of Double Occupancy Cabin - Single SupplementsVariable charges up to 50% single supplement charge (based on the fare for one person sharing a double occupancy cabin) Al Andalus Spain Grand Class Rooms (Standard) have twin beds. Deluxe (Superior) Suites are larger and have double beds. Deluxe Double Bed, Junior Double Bed, Twin Bed and Bunk Bed cabin options for single use. Blue Train South Africa Luxury Suites with twin or double bed and bath and De Luxe Suites with twin beds with shower or a double bed with bath tub and hand held shower.
