The Vietage travels through mixed terrains: plains, seaside and mountains. The elegant carriage is exclusive to just 12 passengers. It links historic Hoi An to the unhurried coastlines of Quy Nhon, 318 kilometres to the south, on a six-hour journey.
Inspired by the beauty of Vietnam and the luxury of vintage rail travel, The Vietage private rail car has six booths with two window seats for views of Central Vietnam’s verdant plains, forested mountains and sparkling shores. The car also has a sit-up bar, gourmet dining, private restroom and an area for head and shoulder treatments. Look out at indigenous plants and animals, ancient history, and local daily life. Bright bursts of frangipanis; water buffaloes and white cranes drifting across azure skies. Your host will offer you The Vietage's ‘Discovery Book’ - guidance and information for a pleasant and comfortable journey. While The Vietage private rail car has been created for cross-country transfers between Anantara Hoi An Resort and Anantara Quy Nhon Resort, the journey is open to all. On average, the hottest months are June and July; by day, high temperatures mid 30s, by night, mid 20s. The coldest months are December and January; by day - low 20s, by night - below 20 deg. The rainy (monsoon) season - October to February. Sunshine is still abundant but there will be more rainy days than usual. The dry season - late February to September.
